POSITION PURPOSE

Performs detailed analysis of business processes, procedures, organization structure, etc., from end-to-end to identify and optimize operational, financial and technological processes and investments. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities.

  • Consults with department management to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and level of system access to ensure optimal performance of systems and processes.

  • Identifies, creates and facilitates process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design, focusing on quality improvement and data management, developing process improvements, provide suggestions on integrating new systems and/or processes with existing ones, and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure processes and systems meet the long-term business strategies.

  • Leads or participates in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation, managing project scope, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones, and managing customer and supplier relationships. Defines and documents internal customer business functions and processes.

  • Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents business rules, functions and requirements. Provides project level analysis and documentation.

  • Consistently challenges the IT and business teams to improve all aspects of their processes.

  • Consults with functional and corporate leaders to provide data-driven insights into business and team performance.

  • Collaborates with developers and key stake holders to implement requirements and identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Elicits and clearly documents new implemented business and systems requirements, assess business process and system inefficiencies, and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Provides leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others, articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others, identifying and initiating projects, managing resources, driving the resolution of issues and holding team accountable for results.

  • Performs other analyses, reports, and presentations and/or duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Business, IT or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 5 years of related business analysis, systems, six sigma or similar experience.

  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills

  • Must have experience working on large scale projects, as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business

  • At least 3 years of Workday HCM or Financials may be required depending on the position

  • Data analysis – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various systems

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
