Manages one or more areas of LIFT Academy scheduling and provides administrative and organizational assistance in the day-to-day operation.

  • Maintains schedules and receives assets such as aircraft delivery, students, instructors, classrooms, etc.

  • Creates monthly student flight, ground, and simulator schedules.

  • Maintains updated scheduling database.

  • Maintains compliance with Company policy, and FAA regulations for flight scheduling and maintenance scheduling.

  • Ensures that changes to the published schedule are communicated to instructors and students in a timely manner.

  • Maintains compliance with Company policy, and FAA regulations for flight scheduling and maintenance scheduling.

  • Resolves problems that arise during current and/or future scheduling needs. Implements plans to correct operational issues.

  • Fosters quality customer service with all instructors and students.

  • Works cross functionally with flight operations, information technology, and human resources to ensure all Lift training information is updated, communicated and completed.

  • Coordinates maintenance planning and crew training regarding aircraft maintenance switches, identifying a replacement aircraft and rescheduling training and crews.

  • Maintain pilot and flight school records.

  • Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management or related field or a combination of education and experience. -OR-

  • High school diploma and 5 years of airline, customer service, administrative or similar experience.

  • Knowledge of aviation operations federal, state, and local rule and regulations.

  • Strong Microsoft Office application experience.

  • Strong skills in computer software.

  • Able to handle confidential information and use good judgement in handling sensitive situations.

  • Able to evaluate and troubleshoot problems and make decisions to correct.


The working days required for this position are as follows:

Four days during the week (Monday - Friday) from 1:00pm - 8:00pm and a rotating weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) for an 8 hour shift.


Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.


Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Creatively view problems from a different vantage point. Being able to effectively research, gather, and report data.


Makes decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low. The ability to emphasize a logical, rational approach to tackling new ideas, sorting information, and discovering creative solutions.
