POSITION PURPOSE

Inputs, audits and maintains database of pilot training records. Works with instructors and check-airmen to ensure paperwork is received and entered to ensure pilots and instructors are current on all qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Enters data into Crewqual and Comply 365 Pilot Training Databases for Pilots and Instructors.

  • Tracks pilot training status via eLearn online pilot training.

  • Audits paperwork and entries from team members.

  • Generates monthly reports (to include de-qualified pilots).

  • Contacts pilots and Instructors for paperwork follow-up, ensuring continuing compliance of pilot group.

  • Issues monthly notifications to pilots concerning training.

  • Performs administrative duties such as computing New Hire Stipends, FED-Ex, IOE packets, phone calls, etc.

  • Performs various other duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Skilled in Microsoft Office and data base structure.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Specialty training beyond high school in Aviation, Aviation degree, Pilot Certification and/or license with at least 1 year of experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

DECISION MAKING

Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.
