Evaluates and analyzes the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system and serves as a subject matter expert representative.

Ensures the effective use of the ERP and other critical Company systems.
Coordinates implementing requirements of the ERP system with department managers and directors.
Audits, updates and maintains user guides on how to use the ERP system.
Provides support and training to receiving inspectors, QA Auditors, etc on effective use of the ERP and on other related company systems.
Tests defects and enhancements to the system. Writes up and creates test environments.
Registers defects and new requirement requests with the ERP system supplier and monitors progress.
Performs acceptance testing and develops test cases for defects and enhancements to the system.
Serves as the subject matter expert for the ERP with such areas as maintenance programs, mechanics, records, supply chain, purchasing, finance and engineering.
Analyzes requests from the business for new functionality and submits proposals for review.
Compiles requirements information from outside vendors.
Evaluates new systems for purchase in regards to program interface with current systems.
Provides recurrent training to the field on the use of automation and technology.
Coordinates new requirements across functional areas.
Responds to issues forwarded by Republic IT ticket system; provides after hours support as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
High school diploma or GED.
A&P License and RII required.
At least four years of airline experience with at least one of those years in aircraft maintenance inspection or related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in aviation, IT systems area or equivalent.
Related systems experience (RAMCO, SAP or similar system).
Additional years of experience in Aviation, Supply Chain or IT systems.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
technical and procedure manuals Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form.
Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.
